Sierra Summit/Ascent and Wave reports have a patient block which contains information such as Patient name, Date of Birth, Physician, Referring Physician, Weight, and Height. Some of the patient block information may appear cut off or on two lines instead of one in the report. This is a sizing issue that can be corrected by a modification to the report template Patient Block AutoFit Behavior setting. Follow these steps:
- Open the QuickReport program using the shortcut on the Windows desktop. Select the Sierra User login – no password necessary. If you are unable to locate the QuickReport shortcut, generate a report and click the back button, then next, then back, then next.
- Locate the template you normally use to generate reports. Right click on it then select Edit (name of the template).
- From the “All Items in the Template” check-list in the middle of the window, right-click on Patient Block then enter.
- Set AutoFit Behavior: to AutoFit to the window.
- Click Update.
- Click Save.
- Verify updated setting works by generating a new report.
- Create a new preserve to backup report template change. Preserve backup is accomplished by clicking File, then Preserve, then Save within the Sierra program.
